Yes. Ghost Mountain Inn welcomes families and offers spacious gardens, two swimming pools, a children’s play area, outdoor games and family-friendly accommodation. It is also a comfortable base from which to introduce children to safaris and the natural environment.
Yes. Children are welcome on game drives, private drives and boat cruises. Families may choose a private vehicle where they would prefer greater flexibility around timing and the needs of younger children.
Guided walks within a wildlife reserve are restricted to guests aged 16 years and older. Hotel nature walks and other family activities have separate age-appropriate programmes.
Ghost Mountain Inn offers age-appropriate activities, subject to availability and advance arrangement.
For ages 5 to 10: guided garden nature walks, nature treasure hunts, Zulu crafts, face and finger painting, fishing and pizza-making.
For ages 11 and older: nature walks, kayaking on the hotel dam, navigation skills, stars and campfire cooking, fishing and a Zululand tree hunt.
Children can also enjoy the play area, outdoor games, swimming pools and spacious gardens.
Yes. A trusted babysitter can be arranged with advance notice, subject to availability and an additional charge.
