Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park is approximately 65 km from Ghost Mountain Inn. The hotel can arrange a guided day safari, including transport.
The reserves surrounding Ghost Mountain Inn are home to the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo. Depending on the reserve visited, guests may also see cheetah, wild dog, hippo, giraffe, zebra, antelope and a wide variety of birds and smaller species. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.
Yes. Guided boat cruises can be arranged on Lake Jozini, approximately 12 km from the hotel. Guests may see hippo, crocodile, waterbirds, elephant and other wildlife along the shoreline. Cruises are subject to weather, water levels and availability.

Yes. Guests can self-drive in uMkhuze Game Reserve and Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, subject to reserve gate times, entrance fees and road conditions. The hotel team can provide current directions and practical advice.
