Yes. Ghost Mountain Inn has specially designed accessible Mountain and Garden Rooms on the ground floor. The rooms have wide doorways, accessible bathrooms with shower seats and handrails, wall-mounted basins and power sockets near the bed for medical equipment. Reservations should be advised of specific requirements when booking.
Reception, the gift shop, restaurants, lounges and other principal public areas are accessible, and an accessible public toilet is available in the main lounge and bar area. The swimming pools have handrails and steps into the water.
Wheelchair users may join selected activities, but the safari vehicles and boats are not specifically adapted. Guests may need assistance transferring into vehicles or boats and should travel with a qualified companion where required. uMkhuze Game Reserve has accessible hides and level pathways, while the Mkuze River Bird Walk may be suitable for wheelchairs with off-road tyres.
